Grasscar MowerSports is a non-profit organization.

For 5 years now we have been holding monthly meetings the first Saturday of every month at either 6pm or 7 pm. Those who have made the effort to show up and participate in these meetings are up to date with the clubs happenings. However there are some members who have as of late decided not to attend our monthly meeting so here are the current events. 

We are unable to hold any meetings at Hew Hope as the fire department has denied our requests for further access for meetings, so all meetings have been cancelled until a suitable location is found. At the last meeting it was made clear that the officers of the club are retiring this year and replacements for the following positions are required if GRASSCAR is to continue: President, Vice President, secretary, Treasurer, Pit Boss, and Event Coordinator. It is time for new leaders with new ideas and a fresh perspective a "changing of the guard" so to speak .

The Oswego race was cancelled 2 days ago by Oswego because they are unable to put the function together for GRASSCAR to race for. As for the rest of the race season...  most have declined races for liability reasons. GRASSCAR is a Non-Profit organization therefore we will not race at at any event that is not a charitable event. Meaning if the race is not put on to raise money for a person or persons in need then GRASSCAR will not sanction the race.

Direct access to the message board was removed because GRASSCAR's website was used to advertise other non GRASSCAR sanctioned race events without the officers permission..

 Grasscar MowerSports is a non-profit organization that racing lawnmowers  for charity in Central NY. We base the paint scheme and the numbering of our machines on NASCAR. Everyone is welcome to attend our races and take their chances at our door prizes and the 50/50 raffle. We are also always looking for new members, racers and people to assist our officers in race day events.
